This research aims to design and implement a firmware, electronics, mathematical model and regulator for “inverted pendulum” laboratory device. Currently, there is a problem of applying theoretical knowledge of control theory to practice by students. Therefore, a physical installation for practicing is required. Installation consists of a movable carriage, which can move along rails. An aluminum rod is attached to the carriage, which must be stabilized by regulator. In addition, because of correct firmware architecture, different regulators can be used to stabilize “inverted pendulum” laboratory device. As a result, firmware, electric board, mathematical model and regulator for pendulum were created.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.
