Application Development for Trend Changes Analysis in Football Leagues

The goal of this graduate work is to create an application based on an econometric model of trend analysis in football leagues. The object of research in this work is an indicator of the popularity of a football team. The subject of the study is a popularity index prediction application based on an econometric model of trend analysis in soccer leagues. The first chapter is devoted to the review of scientific literature on the economics of sports. The result is the identification of the most significant variables, the definition of the required type of data and the econometric model. The second chapter presents data collection, review and processing, as well as the construction of the econometric model, including the interpretation of parameters. The third chapter presents the process of designing and developing an application to forecast changes in trends in football leagues. The graduate qualification work includes 3 chapters. Totals: 48 pages.
