This work is dedicated to modeling the impact of the digital transformation of the economy and the development of the region's information and communication technologies sector on key indicators of economic development in the Perm Region. This work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter presents an analysis of scientific sources to determine the key indicators of development of the Perm Region and identify the necessary indexes that reflect the state of the digital transformation of the economy and development of the sector of information and communication technologies in the region. This chapter will also present an overview of the possible hypotheses of impact. The second chapter describes modeling methods and analysis of existing software products to achieve the set objectives. The third chapter contains information on source data processing, hypothesis formulation, and verification, as well as construction and testing of econometric models in Gretl. The fourth chapter presents econometric modeling and forecasting using machine learning methods in Python. The volume of work is 70 pages and contains 32 illustrations, 8 tables, and 2 applications.
