Educational Programme: Business Informatics (Bachelor)

Final Grade: 7

Year of Graduation: 2020

This work is the result of the analysis of wave distributed algorithms. The paper presents a comparative analysis of the algorithms that are implemented in the NetLogo environment. In addition, an analysis of simulation environments among AnyLogic, Repast, and NetLogo programs has been carried out. After analysis, NetLogo simulation environment was chosen among the programs presented. Also presented is the implementation of models of three wave algorithms with step-by-step explanation of actions. As a result, a guide was compiled to teach students the topic of distributed algorithms. The manual allows you to clearly understand the purpose and features of using a particular algorithm, and its complexity. The manual also includes a demonstration of the algorithms and instructions for writing them in a simulation environment NetLogo. The author of this work is a student of the Higher School of Economics Konstantin Nekrasov. The supervisor of studies is the associate professor of the Department of Information Technologies in Business, Elena Borisovna Zamyatina. The text of the work is presented on 42 pages, includes 3 chapters, 40 illustrations and 1 table with a comparative analysis of such programs as NetLogo, AnyLogic and Repast. The application includes 61 pages.
