The relationship between the subjective picture of key life events and the psychological well-being of the individual is investigated. The work is done in a personalological format and is of a qualitative and quantitative nature. The paper provides a theoretical and empirical substantiation of the connection between the living psychological well-being and the structure of a key life event of an individual, and the personological model of a situation-event is empirically proven. The essence of the category “subjective picture of key life events” is revealed, the connections of this phenomenon with a positive attitude to life are theoretically substantiated. Psychological well-being is considered as one of the key indicators of a positive attitude towards life. Based on the analysis of the texts of 93 respondents, the main constituents of the subjective picture of key life events were identified: “past”, “place”, “Other”, “others”, “my reflection”, “way of appeal”, “new”. The author’s technique “My Key Life Event” was developed and its effectiveness was demonstrated when working with respondents' stories about the most significant event in their life. Using qualitative and quantitative methods, a subjective picture of key life events relevant to living psychological well-being is determined. The novelty of the study also lies in its multidisciplinarity, since the concepts of life psychology, event psychology, personality pathology psychology, positive psychology and existential psychology were used to comprehend and study the category of “psychological well-being” in connection with the subjective picture of “key life events”. Thus, the model of the situation-event is empirically verified in the master's thesis, the possibility of supplementing its architectonics with a description of the scales of psychological well-being is substantiated, which creates new opportunities for further research in line with general personology. For practical psychology, the important result is that even a negative key life event can open the way to living psychological well-being if a significant Other, through reflective questions about the life situation, helps the client find a new strategy for behavior and realize the possibility of positive changes in relations with oneself, with the world and with others ..
