Psychoanalytic Approach to the Phenomenon of Transition States

In this final qualifying work, the transitional states that a person experiences during periods of life changes are investigated, the causes of difficulties in living transition periods are studied, the stages of transition and their features are proposed. In the course of the study, a psychological analysis of transition states was carried out (on the example of five client cases) and the patterns of these processes were identified. The mechanism of the transition process itself in the psychoanalytic and symbolic contexts is proposed as well as the classification of social rituals associated with transitional states. The results can be used in individual psychoanalytic counseling and group psychological work, in research on this issue, as well as in the development of trainings aimed at conscious cooperation of a person with the processes of his personal growth and development during life changes and crises. The structure of the work is presented by introduction, two chapters, discussion of results and findings, conclusion and list of references, including 85 sources. The total number of final qualification work – 73 c.
