In the process of developing the EAEU member states are constantly faced with various problems related to the protection of the national markets and the internal market of the Union in relations with third countries. Trade remedies are non-tariff trade restrictions that are among the instruments of the Union's trade policy. In the context of the development of integration the number of business entities that produce products for the internal market of the Union and for export to third countries is increasing, which necessitates the use of protective tools even at the production stage. Within the framework of industrial policy, the applica-tion of protective measures, within the meaning of international legal norms, is impossible, however, it is possible to protect and support union enterprises using special mechanisms.
