Experience of Managing Infrastructure Megaprojects

The present research is an attempt at studying infrastructure megaprojects in the context of city development. The general purpose of this bachelor thesis is to show how infrastructure megaprojects can be run more effectively using the experience of previous projects. The methods utilized are the comparative analysis of a few cases of metro design and construction and the SWOT-analysis of the Moscow Metro. The results anticipated can advance our understanding of how lessons learned can be used in improving megaprojects' management. In the future, it is possible to succeed in studying more cases from different areas and deepen the analysis by using additional tools.
