Comparative analysis of mechanisms for managing innovative projects involving venture capital investment in Russia and China

The work raises the issue of the venture capital (VC) development in Russia and China and is aimed to identify the main positive factors due to which the Chinese VC market is the second one in the world after the United States. The purpose of the work is to identify weaknesses in managing the venture capital mechanism in Russia and make suggestions on the use of China's positive experience in this area. For this aim, the stages of formation and methods of VC market state regulation in China and Russia were studied, their comparison was carried out in order to highlight similar and different features. The works of Chinese, English-speaking and Russian authors who study venture capital were analyzed to make a deeper research. A list of problem fields and recommendations for improving the Russian venture mechanism are the main outcomes of the research.
