Age Peculiarities of Speech Development Correlation When Teaching Native and Foreign Languages

The paper is devoted to the relationship of speech development in English and Russian lessons in grades 2 and 5. The need to study the correlation of requirements for the development of native and foreign language programs with the age characteristics and needs of students at each level of school education is very great. The object of research– written works and oral statements of students for measuring oral and written speech development.The subject of the research is the relationship of speech aspects of development in teaching Russian and English languages. This paper answers the following research questions: 1. is there a relationship between speech development when teaching native and foreign languages in grades 2 and 5? 2. If the level of speech development in the native language is high, will it be better to assign a foreign language? As a result of the research, it was possible to determine the relationship of speech development and determine the continuity of speech development in teaching native and foreign languages. The main conclusion of the work is that if the level of speech development according to the set indicators in the native language is high, then the foreign language will also be better assimilated. This study raises a methodological question: whether it is necessary to combine the study of native and English languages, so that students can relate their structures.
