Android Application for Travel Planning and Support

The trends of the past three decades in tourism sector reflect the increasing number of tourist arrival and the creation of new non-traditional directions and unusual kinds of tourism. This contributes to the development of informal tourism in with travelers plan their journeys by themselves without the participation travel agencies. [2] There are a lot of applications for planning and support travels like software for buying airline and railway tickets, hotel and apartment booking, ride sharing and much more. However, market of travel applications does not have worthwhile solutions with all necessary functions to plan trip. The aim of this work is to develop mobile application for the Android operation system with an extensive list of features for planning and supporting travels. This paper describes the technologies, algorithms, and architectural solutions used in the development of the application. The paper contains 29 pages, 3 chapters, 6 illustrations, 3 tables, 16 bibliography items.
