Conscious Parenthood: An Existential Phenomenological Analysis

The research work was carried out as part of the training on the master's program “Consultative Psychology and Personology”. The main provisions of the work develop according to such a psychological direction as modern existential analysis. The purpose of this study is to reflect the potential of the existential-phenomenological approach in the space of consideration of the concept and content of the phenomenon of conscious parenting. The work includes a systematization of the scientific views of psychology, pedagogy, sociology, an analysis of the sociocultural context regarding topics of parent-child relationships, disclosure of psychological portraits of subjects of parent-child relationships, a theoretical analysis of the content of the structure of the phenomenon of conscious parenting in the framework of existential analysis and other approaches, as well as an empirical study of this phenomenon. Key words: conscious parenting, parent-child relationships, modern existential analysis, existential and phenomenological research.
