Student: Zhogolev Vladislav

Supervisor: Rimma Akhmetsafina

Faculty: Faculty of Computer Science

Educational Programme: Software Engineering (Bachelor)

Final Grade: 9

Year of Graduation: 2020

This work is devoted to the problem of incompressible fluid movement visualization in real-time. The paper considers existing approaches to real-time fluid modeling. A detailed description of the Position Based Fluids method for simulating a fluid is given. The work describes in detail the method that is used to visualize the fluid. A description is also given of CUDA technology, the application of which allows real-time simulation of fluids by parallelizing the Position Based Fluids algorithm. The result of this work is a program that visualizes fluid motion in real-time. The work contains 53 pages, 3 chapters, 27 figures, 20 code listings, 2 tables, 19 sources, 4 appendices. Keywords: computer graphics, smoothed particle hydrodynamics, fluid, Position Based Fluids, CUDA.
