This master thesis is devoted to the description of the empirical study which is aimed at revealing specifics of inner-dialog activity in relation to existential fulfillment and the experience of loneliness. The theoretical part of the paper provides an analytical review of existing research on the question under study as well as describes the model that has been formulated on the basis of the analysis. The empirical part of the paper provides a detailed description of the conducted empirical research and its results. The sample consisted of 202 respondents aged from 60 to 75 years. The results of the study showed that inconsistent, ambivalent inter-dialogue is negatively correlated with all four fundamental motivations, general loneliness, and is positively correlated with dependence on communication. Positive loneliness, is positively correlated with indicators of overall dialogic activity and values on the inner world scale. Differences in correlations depending on the respondent's gender are identified and described. It is proved that the religious worldview, type of residence and employment do not affect the experience of loneliness.
