Program for Estimating the Tonality of Posts on Social Networks and Collecting Statistics

We live inside ever-growing media field – inside and outside of University. In such an environment it is necessary to keep in touch with and react to anything happening in social networks. Major info lines are In general appear in two social networks – VK.com and Telegram. There we can find sources as student media, like DOXA, The Vyshka, HSE Press, and others previously registered as student organizations, as anonymous channels and groups without author, which are representing opinion of narrow range of persons, which can affect vox populi. Most of second ones are based in Telegram, e.g.: Maslina FM, Digital Myaso, #fknpereehal, and others. Each of these channels popped up during conflict situation inside University, like introduction of blocking grades, making changes in local regulations and more. Since University is undergoing some changes, it’s almost impossible to predict, which ones will cause disagreement within students and which ones will go beyond our Alma Mater. Because of that administration is constantly monitor HSE mentions in social media and analyze what is happening inside student medias.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.

In the event that a thesis is quoted or otherwise used, reference to the author’s name and the source of quotation is required.
