The thesis presents the results of a research dedicated to the experience of emotional violence in close interpersonal relationships. The researchers have raised the question of how the partners experience emotional violence in a relationship. To perform the analysis, several in-depth semi-structured interviews with partners who have been in a relationship for at least 1.5 years were conducted. The phenomenon of emotional violence was described using phenomenological data analysis. The study has limitations: insufficient exploration of empirical data due to the use of phenomenological analysis.
