Language Situation in the Russian-Nordic Borderland: Diversity and Interaction in the Multilingual Landscape

The study attempts to describe language situation in the Russian-Nordic borderland. It is based on in-depth anthropological interviews conducted during the fieldwork in the north of Republic Karelia and Murmansk province. The study focuses on such issuses as language policies, language and identity, revitalisation of indigenous linguistic codes.
