Aggression as an Organizational Resource

The master's thesis by D. Prokopov and S. Svyatogorova, is devoted to the study of aggression in the organizational environment. This study is very relevant. The work has an applied character and practical value. The importance of studying this issue is determined by requirements of practice in the modern world, the frequent need for people to work under stressful conditions, regardless of company size. The aim of the work is studying the issue of reducing the risk of the destructive influence of aggressive behavior and increasing the degree of controllability by team from management. Tasks were set to study the psychoanalytic concept of aggression and anxiety. Consider ways to utilize aggression. Consider using aggression as a resource for developing an organization. Consider patterns of aggressive organization behavior. Explore the phenomena of aggression in organizations. The object of research is organizational aggression. The subject of the study is managing of organizational aggression in the teams of business companies. The structure of the work consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusions, conclusion, reference list and applications. In the introduction, the goal and objectives of the study are formed, the research problem is highlighted. The first and second chapters examine the nature of aggression from a psychoanalytic point of view. A brief overview of the available and most common concepts in the field of aggression is presented, which analyze concepts such as anxiety and the sexual nature of aggression (A. Freud). A brief squeeze of organizational concepts of aggression is given. The third chapter discusses practical cases of aggression in the organization and its impact on development of the company as a whole. It is shown that it is necessary measuring the level of aggression in organizations in order to maintain it at the right level, which will allow the company to develop and move forward. The paper explores the possibility of applying the psychodynamic approach to the aggression of organizations. As a result of the work, following conclusions were made:  Level of aggression correlates with managerial pressure.  Level of aggression can be converted into an organizational resource. The results of this work can be used by coaches in personal practice for individual and group work with clients.
