Evaluating the Effectiveness of Human Resource Management: Practices and Application Problems

The research work was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of the human resources management (hereinafter referred to as the HRM) system of «Brok-Invest-Service and K» company (hereinafter referred to as the Company). The basic theoretical approaches to the HRM definition and related terms are considered, the existing problems of assessing the effectiveness of HRM are described. In the course of the diagnostic study, the company’s HRM documents were analyzed, semi-structured interviews were conducted with employees of the Personnel Department. Specific features of the Company's HRM system were considered; the results of evaluating its effectiveness are given, as well as recommendations for its (HRM system) improvement. The developed recommendations can be used to develop and improve the HRM system in the Company.
