The Improvement of Transport Capabilities Utilization In the Petrochemical Company

The purpose of the thesis is to benchmark the current level of transport capabilities utilization in the company and to develop a solution to improve the use of transport capabilities in a particular plant and, as a result, increase the economic efficiency of the company as a whole and the plant in particular. The main tasks that will be considered in the work: 1. Study and assessment of the current state of the international market for the petrochemical industry; 2. Study of the current level of use of transport, in particular, one of the plants; 3. Development of actions and algorithms for improving the process of used transport capacities after identifying bottlenecks; 4. Benchmarking the results, taking into account economic efficiency. Methods of collecting information for research are analysis of open and closed (internal) company documentation, observation, expert assessment, employee survey. The result of the work is the solution to the current problems of the company in terms of using transport capabilities, the development of an algorithm, and suggestions for improving efficiency in the current situation of the company on the case.
