The modern medical equipment market is characterized by stable growth. Since 2016, the profit in this sector has been increasing by 5-10% annually. Moreover, in each product category there is its own leader. The level of logistics service also influences the company's position on the market. It is important how quickly the company can deliver the goods to the customer at the right place and at the right time. Reducing the lead time is especially relevant for companies in the field of medical equipment, where fast delivery in some cases helps to save the lives of patients. It is also worth noting that logistics is not a key competency for companies in this field, often logistics service is provided by third parties, which complicates coordination in the supply chain. Improving the process of fulfilling the order and reducing the time of its completion are actual tasks for GE Healthcare, which will be considered in this work. The aim of the work is to develop general recommendations and search for the most effective tools for improving the company's logistics system, taking into account the specifics of its activities. Putting the proposed tools into practice will reduce the lead time, increase the level of the logistics service provided and subsequently can be applied not only to companies engaged in the supply of medical equipment and spare parts for them, but also to companies in other industries.
