"Ebee always dressed nicely when she went shopping to a shop across the street. She also always stayed home when the whole family went to celebrate Ysyakh, the main holiday of the year. Meanwhile, she honored all the traditions. On the terrace of her house in Khayakhsyt, there is still an artwork of a white horse tied to serge. It's a kind of application made of leather, fabric and beads, already damaged in some places, of course. When I was in the third grade, my grandmother gave me a white hareskin coat, and high white fur boots, beaded with dancing girls and boys in national costumes in golden embroidery. I remember the little chorons they used to raise high in the dance. Also, Ebee saved her old mother from death during the Churapcha resettlement. Before she was sent to the north, she transported her elderly mother across the river and left her in Yakutsk with relatives - despite police cordons. She was illiterate, so she hardly wrote. The only letter I received from her was with terrible mistakes. It was lost even before I started to appreciate it". "Ysyakh" is an attempt to reflect on a traumatic experience, an attempt to build communication with the Other.
