Analysis of the Development of Top-Level Sports in Olympic Sports in the Russian Federation until 2024

The master's thesis is devoted to one of the most difficult and controversial issues in the field of sports: the analysis of the development of high-performance sports in Olympic sports in the Russian Federation. The article analyzes the legal support for the preparation of sports teams. The criteria for selection to the sports teams of the Russian Federation are considered. Of particular interest is the author's comparison of the negative consequences of the pandemic for sports and the special status of national teams. The author also analyzes the system of training sports teams in Olympic sports of the leading sports powers and the methodology of the training process in developed countries, developed recommendations for training sports teams of the Russian Federation in Olympic sports, taking into account international experience. The results of the research on the disclosure of the essence, features and trends in the development of modern high-performance sports through the management system for the preparation of sports teams will allow you to predict the future state of sports and build in accordance with this sports policy, relationships with other social spheres, as well as other layers of sports, focusing on the optimal social result. This work can be used by employees of the Ministry of sports of the Russian Federation, all-Russian sports federations, Executive authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation in the field of physical culture and sports, and other organizations that are involved in providing training for Russian national teams.
