Comparative Analysis of Modern Training and Development Models of Young Hockey Talents in Russia and Canada

This study provides a comparative analysis of modern models of training and development of young hockey talents in Russia and Canada. The author proposes indicators of the current state of development of youth and youth hockey in the Russian Federation were determined, a comparative analysis of national hockey training programs in the Russian Federation and Canada was carried out, the influence of national hockey schools on the formation of models of training and development of young hockey talents was studied, urgent problems were identified and prospects for the development of national hockey schools in the Russian Federation. Also, the work explores the potential use of the Canadian experience in regulating the hockey players' labor market in Russia. The results of the study can be used by sports managers to improve the training of young hockey talents.
