Sourcing Processes Improvement in Terms of the Oilfield Service Company

The main purpose of this work is to develop and analyze the effectiveness of measures used to improve the sourcing processes, using the example of an oilfield services company for future implementation. In the process of achieving this goal, the main tasks will also be solved: • Analysis of the oilfield services market and the position of the focal study company, based on business performance indicators; • Study of the theoretical foundations of increasing the sourcing activities for the subsequent analysis of their applicability in the oilfield services market and in practice in the focus company in particular; • Development of a set of measures suitable for use in the company in order to increase the efficiency of its activities and market position, a consistent algorithm for the implementation of selected tools and an economic justification for the effects of the implementation of the proposed list. The object of the study in this work is the Schlumberger company in the region of Russia and Central Asia. The subject of the study is the procurement activities of the focal company and the search for ways to increase it.
