For many years, return logistics has only been considered as an aspect of other areas of logistics, such as lean manufacturing and green logistics. It was only at the turn of the XX century that the first notes appeared about returnable material flows as an independent strategy that can bring a large and stable profit. In addition, this topic is very relevant at the moment, as return material flows have a great impact on the level of service of the company and in General on the entire supply chain. Thanks to the high quality of customer service and reduced costs in an ever-expanding market, the company is able to take a leading position among competitors and successfully conduct its activities for many years. Therefore, managing return flows helps to increase overall profit by reducing the cost of product write-off and recycling, and also gives companies the opportunity to reuse the product, which is cheaper than producing a new one. Today, it is very important to effectively manage the return flow in order to optimize processes such as moving goods back to the supplier's warehouse, consolidating, storing, controlling and canceling returns. By offering new methods for improving the management of returns of finished products, you can influence the improvement of the company's final financial indicators, especially the increase in ROA.
