In today's world, data and information have a huge impact on the activities of each organization. Logistics generates a huge amount of information at all stages of order execution: data on stocks, shipments, forecasts, customer orders and many others. However, simply having and collecting various information is not enough. It is necessary to process data, monitor indicators, compile reports, integrate the information received into decision-making processes on a variety of issues, as well as into the company's operations. Accordingly, in order to achieve a qualitatively new level of enterprise functioning, it is necessary to use data in such process as inventory management in logistics. The use of analytical platforms, which are gaining more and more popularity due to the opportunities that they provide, can help with this.
