Inventory Planning in the Supply Chain on the Example of the Company "Carousel

Retail is one of the most important areas of business, as it addresses the needs of the population for various products. With increased competition, making effective decisions on inventory management and distribution is a key factor for success of the companies in question. The purpose of this graduation thesis is to improve the inventory planning process at Karusel. In the course of this work, the methods and models of inventory planning in the logistics and the main problems of Karusel were analyzed, characteristics of logistics activity of Karusel were examined, the place of the company in the competitive environment in the Russian retail market, the assessment of financial and economic performance indicators and the assessment of the economic efficiency of the proposed solutions were studied. The study resulted in a system of measures to improve Karusel inventory planning.
