The Influence of the Institution of Credit Histories on the Process of Consumer Lending in the Russian Federation

The aim of this work is to study and analyze the impact of the institution of credit histories on the sphere of consumer lending in Russia, the problems and prospects of the latter in light of the development of the institution of credit histories, as well as the role of business intelligence in the processes under study. The scientific novelty of the work consists in summarizing the theoretical and some practical aspects of the organization and functioning of the domestic institute of credit histories, as well as in proposing, justifying and evaluating the directions of its improvement. The work outlines the concept and essence, the foundations of legal regulation, the history of development and the current state of the institution of credit histories in Russia and abroad; studied the organization of the assessment of a potential borrower and the main scoring models. The problems of the functioning of the institution of credit histories in the field of consumer lending are identified. In addition, a number of practical steps for its improvement and optimization are formulated in the work.
