Main Determinants of Securitization of Financial Firms in USA: Empirical Analysis

This research provides a wide empirical evidence on determinants of securitization of US banks. After studying these researches as well as many others, it should be emphasized that liquidity and capital needs, profitability, efficiency, quality of assets and size of the firm are major determinants of securitization. In section 3 data analysis is also provided, which shows some evidence on banks – outliers with respect to some of their business ratios.
