In this paper, I investigate the effect of the increasing number of refugees on the labour market. This research focuses on the flows of immigrants from countries with the unstable political and economic climate. As the representatives of such countries Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq were chosen. In this work, I analyze the effects of these refugees on the labour market at the countries which immigrants choose as points of their destinations. I consider not only the effect on the strong and developed economy but also the economies of developing countries. As the examples of developed countries, I have chosen Italy, France, Germany and Greece, as these countries were the most popular among the refugees due to numerous economic and social matters. Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey were taken as the representatives of developing countries mainly due to their geographical position and the number of immigrants which they have faced. This topic is interesting because of the cross-country’s analysis, as governments and societies of different countries have reacted discernibly to immigrants and their problems.
