After the Paris terrorist attacks on November 13, 2015, the French media began to pay close attention to muslim women and often disclose information about them in a negative way. Cultural differences, particularly in cloths, cause people to fear about security-both physical because of possible connection with terrorists, and cultural because of the "blurring" of French values and identity. As a result, muslim women become objects of xenophobia and discrimination. The relevance of this study stems from the need to conduct a corpus study of the representations of muslim women in the French pro-government and liberal media in order to find out what representations the media gives to muslim women and, thus, how they are represented in French society. This study will also help to scientifically substantiate the possible existence of discrimination, subjectively felt by representatives of this social group.
