Illumination of the Drogo Sacramentary: Iconographic Program and Prototypes

This paper focuses on the Drogo Sacramentary, a historical illuminated source from the 9th century. The work reveals the iconographic program of the Sacramentary and the peculiarities of the artistic means of its implementation, discusses presumptive iconographic prototypes, analyzes the specifics of the miniatures of the Sacramentary.
