Vacation Forms of Organization of the Educational Process in Schools: Educational and Social Effects

The master's thesis consists of an introduction, 2 chapters, a conclusion. It contains 5 pictures, 9 tables. When writing, 61 sources were used. Object of research: vacation schools as a form of organization of the educational process at schools. Subject of research: social and educational effects of vacation schools of an educational organization. The aim of the study is to identify the educational and social effects of vacation schools of educational organizations allocated by different participants from different social positions. Chapter I consist an analysis of the literature. Educational trips for children has a history of 150 years. There were already summer schools where students with rested, recovered, studied, engaged in socio-political activities and productive work. There are different methodological descriptions of summer schools. But for government Russian schools vacation study is like a phenomenon. There are no descriptions of the potential of vacation schools. What interesting and useful in such the educational process. Chapter II is devoted to the choice of the research method, the description of the research, and the analysis of the collected data. The empirical part of the work was based on 52 in-depth semi-formalized interviews with heads of educational organizations, heads of vacation schools, teachers, students and parents. All categories of respondents are related to 4 Moscow schools. In conclusion, the author writes about the importance of various factors for principals, heads of vacation schools, teachers, students, and parents. There is also a comparison of the social and educational effects of vacation schools between different educational organizations. Appendices to the work contain a semi-formalized interview guide, examples of transcribed interviews, and a structured list of the effects noted by respondents from different social groups.
