Topic: «Research on User Files of the Processing and Storage Properties in the NTFS File System Running Windows 10 Related to the Mention of Files in the Information System» Keywords: NTFS file system, Windows 10 operation system, MFT files table The object of the study was the process of user work with user files in the Win-dows 10 operating system using the NTFS file system. The subject of the study was the devel-opment of an algorithm that allows to remove traces of user files at the request of the user after their removal. The final qualification work consists of an introduction, three chapters, a con-clusion and a list of references. The in-troduction contains the relevance of the study, describes its purpose and contains a brief description of the work carried out in the course of the study. The first chapter presents the results of a theoreti-cal study, on the basis of which a practi-cal study was carried out, the results of which are contained in the third chapter. The third chapter also contains a de-scription of the practical research and experiments carried out, a description of the tools used, and a description of the capabilities of the developed software tool. The conclusion contains the con-clusions made on the basis of the results of the conducted research, as well as the ways of possible further improvement of the developed algorithm.
