Research on Modern Asymmetric Encryption Methods

This research examines the applicability of Russian cryptographic algorithms to the two integrated encryption schemes NPECIESDS and NPECIES. Moreover, the study describes the known standards and recommendations in the asymmetric encryption field, as well as the established open-source software libraries in which Russian cryptographic algorithms are implemented. Within the empirical part of the study, the format of the message transmitted to the data recipient was designed. Afterwards, the software product was developed enabling file and data encryption according to an asymmetric encryption scheme. Furthermore, a comparative analysis of the data encryption and decryption speed using various algorithms was conducted. Finally, we compared the performance of the developed software product and the OpenPGP-compliant program.
