Year of Graduation: 2021

This thesis is devoted to the study of an information-theoretic approach to assessing the quantitative characteristics of algorithms for testing elements of some arbitrary discrete set. In this work, estimates of the complexity of testing methods and their modifications are obtained, as well as exact and asymptotic expressions for several entropy characteristics.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.
