Savkina G. A. Creation and implementation of a new product in the system of additional education. The master's thesis in the field of study 38.04.02 "Management", educational program "Management of education". Scientific supervisor: N. G. Shubnyakova, Ph.D. in Economics, assistant professor, department of venture management, faculty of management, HSE – Nizhny Novgorod. Nizhny Novgorod, 2021. The paper deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of the elaboration and implementation of a new educational product in institutions of additional education on the example of the activities of the A.S. Pushkin School of Arts and Crafts Izograph in Nizhny Novgorod. The «design thinking» technology was chosen as the methodological basis of the project. Chapters 1 and 2 are theoretical in nature: an overview of approaches to the creation of new products and the characteristics of the technology of design thinking are given; the specificity of the creation of new educational services is analyzed. Chapter 3 summarizes the author's practical experience in guiding the creation and implementation of distance educational programs of artistic orientation, which allowed expanding the range of educational services offered by the school and increasing the competitiveness of the institution. Some recommendations on the use of «design thinking technology» have been formulated. This technology has proven its effectiveness in the field of education management.
