WorldSkills Methodology as an Instrument of Practice Training at Universities

A review of the literature on the WorldSkills methodology as a tool for practice-oriented training at universities is presented. The organizational structure of the WorldSkills movement in Russia is described. The practice of using WorldSkills tools by universities in the context of practice-oriented training of students is analyzed. The analysis of the results of demonstration exams in Russia for 2017-2020 has been carried out. Competition test projects for regional and university competitions in a number of skills have been analyzed, and a proposal has been prepared on correlating WorldSkills skills and areas of higher education preparation.
