Colour is an important component in the formation of an idea of the reality surrounding a person. «Colour. The impact on humans» is an animated informational video about the role of colour in people’s everyday life. The video analyzes the psychological, physiological and socio-cultural aspects of this impact. «The functions of colour in the cinematograph of the New Hollywood» is the visual research that examines the role of colour in the cinema. Of course, the functionality of colour in movies has long gone beyond coloring the frame to give it realism. Filmmakers use colour as a tool to influence the viewer. The directors of the New Hollywood exploited color actively in their films. That gives an opportunity to analyze colour solutions in films of that period in American cinematograph.
