This work is devoted to the study of the settlement of international investment disputes. In the course of the work, the concepts of "investment", "foreign investment" and "international investment disputes" were studied, which are essential for a more complete understanding of the topic of the work, comparison and delimitation of international investment disputes from international commercial ones were made. The paper also analyzes and compares two international mechanisms for resolving investment disputes - the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes and International Commercial Arbitration.
