Since business development has always been an important topic for the Russian and global economies, business is constantly looking for new sources of funding. With the development of new technologies and the emergence of access to them for a wide range of people, a unique method of financing has appeared - the initial placement of coins (ICO). Compared to other funding methods, the ICO mechanism remains opaque for many market participants, including investors and company owners. In this work, I identified the factors affecting the amount of funds collected through ICOs, and also determined the level of their correlation with the amounts collected, using data for the period from 2017 to 2020. I focused on the factors that are determined before the launch of the ICO.
