Improving the Approach for Stock Traceability in the Supply Chain on the Example of a Medical Devices Manufacturer

Traceability for the medical device market is the core of many processes, including procurement processes. It helps prevent counterfeit drugs or medical devices from entering the supply chain or meeting patients, provides confidence that products reach their intended recipients, enables efficient and quick recall of defective products from the market, and helps to improve planning process. The relevance of this work is connected to latest COVID-19 pandemic. during and after the global COVID-19 pandemic, many medical device manufacturers faced several problems. Effective and stable performance in this business and under the current circumstances is only manageable for companies that can effectively interact with all counterparties and at the same time observe analyze and share information about their products throughout the entire supply chain. The object of the research is an approach for stocks visibility in the supply chain of a medical device manufacturing company. Subject - improving the approach for stocks visibility in the supply chain of a focus company. The aim of this dissertation is to suggest ways to improve the approach to inventory tracking throughout the supply chain for a medical device manufacturer. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. Scope of work: pages - 97, figures - 27, tables - 17, literary sources - 35.
