Improvment of Approach of Stock Management on the Example of a Trade Production Company

The paper consists of an introduction, main part, conclusion, bibliography and appendices. The introduction presents the relevance of the study problem, the goals and objectives of the paper. The first chapter provides a comprehensive analysis of the activities of Estee Lauder Companies LLC, presents the financial results, analyzes the dynamics of logistics activities, and identifies the shortcomings and bottlenecks of logistics. In addition, the logistics infrastructure has been analyzed. Also, a detailed competitive analysis was carried out, the place of the focus company in the market was determined, its strengths and weaknesses were identified. The second chapter consists of an analysis of the literature on inventory management, methods for analyzing the state of inventory and indicators that assess the effectiveness of inventory management. Papers of both domestic and foreign authors are presented. The third chapter presents a developed model of inventory management, as well as replenishment of the focus company's own stores, a modified formula for calculating EOQ, as well as some other formulas that will allow to assess the level of inventory coverage and make a decision on the need to replenish stores. Also the developed model for the management of the expiring stock is presented. At the end of the chapter, the effectiveness of the proposed solutions is assessed. The final part consists of summarizing the work that was done and recommendations for the management from the author. The text of the paper is presented on 92 pages, including 30 figures and 14 tables.
