Improvement of Inventory Management Process of an Online-Marketplace

In this paper, the problem of improving the inventory management process of the Ozon company was considered. In the first chapter the economic and logistics activities of the company are analyzed , problems of logistics and inventory management process are identified . In the second chapter, an analysis of the relevant scientific literature was carried out, as well as a comparative analysis of the necessary tools. On the basis of the selected methods and tools, an approach was developed for solving the previously indicated problem. In the third chapter, several tools were developed and implemented with helop of the Power BI environment for analyzing stocks as well as future shipments to the warehouse. In addition, an assessment was made of the economic efficiency of the project. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the developed approach can be used to improve the quality of stocks in the warehouse, as a result of which the economic efficiency of the company will increase and the time it takes to reach payback will be reduced.
