The Emotional Aspect in Data-visualization in Online-Media During the Pandemic of COVID-19

In this research we analyzed special characteristics of emotional impact of data-visualization about pandemic of COVID-19 in online-media. Pandemic of COVID-19 has created a lot of open data. Government structures, media and independent media sources have used it for creating data-visualization about pandemic. In the current research we have divided visualizations on two categories: visualizations with goal to create emotional experience for audience and visualizations without this goal. After analyzing this groups with help of our own metric, we have identified, that main difference between data-visualizations in this groups is figurativeness in visualizations, where the goal is to create emotional experience for audience.
