The research complains an assessment of factors affecting the multipliers, an assessment of the country risk of companies in individual countries and industries. The paper proposes one of the methods for correcting estimated multipliers for country risks to apply the method of market comparisons for companies in the markets of Russia, Vietnam and Japan. The author has accumulated the existing methodologies and the latest trends in the industry, and built on the basis of the assessment system. Moreover, the work updates the results of related studies with relevant data, showing the impact of the economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The study is aimed, first of all, at solving practical problems for companies and banks engaged in investments of the entire profile of this industry. The current research is applicable not only in the investment field, but also in the corporate finance field. The results obtained in the work can also be the basis for scientific research, especially taking into account the refined methodology within the current constraints. The work expands and complements the already existing research, is an alternative for testing the obtained methods.
