This paper explores the racial problems in modern day USA and the impact it has on its current foreign policy. In the light of recent affairs, namely, police aggression, new wave of BLM movement and clash of Trump supporters and opponents – all mentioned above factors shine new light on racial issues and substantiates that it is not a matter of the past but indeed an acute problem that has an influence on both internal and external American policy. It should be specified that modern racism is different from its previous forms and one of the main traits is that it subtle and rarely proclaims itself in aggressive outbursts, which makes police brutality towards black man and as the most infamous case, the murder of George Floyd by policeman in Minneapolis, cause a lot of dissonance. Though, to clarify, racial issues are far more intricate and as they are subtle, became more multifaceted, spreading across in many facets, manifesting itself in white supremacy, systemic racism, islamophobia, unjust institutions, and practices.
