The Impact of Sanctions and Counter-Sanctions on the Efficiency of Enterprises: an Empirical Study on the Example of Food Industry Enterprises

The work is devoted to assessing the impact of counter-sanctions on the efficiency of food processing enterprises in Russia. As a result of the literature review, a number of hypotheses were put forward concerning such concepts as state aid, foreign property, the technological level of an enterprise, adaptation to the regime of international sanctions, and markets for the sale of products. After an empirical analysis based on the data from the study of the competitiveness of enterprises in 2018, a number of conclusions were made regarding the selected research factors and assumptions were made to improve the efficiency of food industry enterprises.
