Organization for the Protection of Remote Connectivity while Conducting Video Conferences

Due to the active development of business and the wide territorial distribution of companies around the world, as well as the trend towards the transition to a remote work format for employees, organizations are actively using video conferencing tools that help enterprises unite their teams in a virtual environment. The paper considers a comparative analysis of vulnerabilities and information security incidents in modern video conferencing tools. Based on the results of this analysis, recommendations were developed on the use of the necessary methods for protecting information in video conferencing facilities. The paper describes the types, benefits, and functionality of the market-leading video conferencing tools: Microsoft Teams, Zoom Video Communications, and Cisco WebEx Meetings. Risk analysis of videoconferencing facilities was performed using COBIT methodology and Coras software.
